Important regulations for all KU IWC students.
Grading Policy
The student's academic performance is assessed on four criteria: exams, assignments, attendance, and class participation. Course performance is graded on the following 100-point scale:
A+
100–95
A
94–90
B+
89–85
B
84–80
C+
79–75
C
74–70
D+
69–65
D
64–60
F
Under 60
- Grading at IWC is based on an absolute grading system.
- For transfer credit, passing grades may vary by institution.
- In accordance with internal regulations, percentile scores are not provided.
Attendance
According to the regulations of Korea University, students may receive an F grade if they miss one-third of the total classes. The method of reflecting attendance in grades varies, so please refer to the course syllabus.
For unavoidable absences, students must consult directly with the professor in advance to obtain permission. The professor may request proof and may recognize attendance through alternative assignments; however, whether or not the absence is acknowledged is entirely at the professor’s discretion. Therefore, please note that students must communicate directly with their professor.
Credit Transfer

Code of Conduct
- All students must comply with the regulations of Korea University.
- Any detected issues such as plagiarism or cheating may result in an F grade.
- Violations of Korean law may lead to dismissal from the program and immediate suspension of student visas.
