Follow these steps to join the KU International Winter Campus.
Academic Transcript (or certified proof of enrollment for freshmen)
Proof of Health Insurance that covers your stay in Korea (e.g., Travel Insurance)
Copy of Passport (or Student ID if passport is not available)
Please submit the documents to kuwinter@korea.ac.kr with your IWC application number.
Online-Only Students: You are exempt from submitting Health Insurance and Passport copies.
Visa Requirement: If you need a Student VISA to enter Korea, please visit the Visa menu for more details.
For Nominated Students: If you have been nominated by your home university, you may be eligible for exemptions from certain procedures. Please contact us via email after submitting your application.
All students participating in person must purchase their own health or travel insurance that fully covers their entire stay in Korea. Proof of insurance must be submitted to the IWC office via email before the program begins.
For Korean Citizens
You are exempt to purchase additional insurance if you are covered by the National Health Insurance (국민건강보험). Please submit '건강보험자격득실확인서'.
For Students with University Insurance
If your home university provides insurance for studying abroad, please submit official proof to our office.
Submit your application online by November 14, 2025 (KST 23:59).
Select your course(s) on the application page.
A confirmation email with your student number (e.g., 202595xxxx) will be sent automatically.
Pay the non-refundable application fee of KRW 100,000.
Submit all required documents by email to kuwinter@korea.ac.kr with your IWC application number.
Once your application is reviewed and approved, an official Letter of Acceptance will appear in your application page.
Pay the tuition, housing fee, and all other remaining fees by the deadline.
